The home sale surpassed hedge fund billionaire Eddie Lampert’s 38.4 million dollar Indian Creek Island purchase earlier this year. The best part about it, it was an all cash deal! The buyer’s identity remains anonymous but many rumors have been circulating that the buyer is possibly from the land of record breaking home buyers, Russia.

3 Indian Creek is an un-rivaled piece of architecture. It comprises of two acres of land, which include a private beach made of imported Bahamian pink sand. With ten bedrooms and fourteen baths, the compound holds 30,000 square feet of living space. Construction began for the home in 2008. Designed by Rene Gonzalez, the place gives a contemporary resort feeling. Shlomi Alexander of Bal Bay Development partnered with Felix Cohen as the developers and sellers of the property before the anonymous 47 million dollar purchase.

The newest listing in Miami Beach, the $125 million dollar Versace Mansion, is set to shatter 3 Indian Creek’s sale record. The Versace Mansion is tied for the highest priced home in the US and shows the continuing upward trend of housing prices in Miami Beach’s ultra luxury market.
