Stuart Zimmer pays $19M for Mansions at Acqualina Penthouse
December 15, 2016The penthouse at Mansions at Acqualina was just purchased by multimillionaire hedge fund, Stuart Zimmer and wife with a price tag of $18.78 million.
Founder and CEO of NYC-based Zimmer Partners, Stuart Zimmer’s company has a market value of $3.65 billion and is an energy-focused fund manger that invests in public equity and fixed income markets.
According to records, the Zimmers have closed on additional units in the Mansions at Acqualina building, 4601 and 4602. Penthouse 4601 features a balcony swimming pool, private elevator and cocktail bar. In the neighboring Acqualina, unit 4501 was purchased in 2013 by the Zimmers for $11.5 million.
The 47-story building was completed in August 2015 by The Trump Group featuring 72 luxury residences. All units have summer kitchens, hot tubs and the building features furnishings by Fendi Casa.
Mansions at Acqualina is the second tower and is to be followed by Estates at Acqualina which is expected to be completed in 2020.
